Maria Nordina Mona, 47, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on July 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father Nicanor Casareo in 2009. She is survived by her husband, Michael; seven children, Jaclyn, Joseph, Julia, Justine, Joy, Joanna, and Jenae Mona; mother, Divinia Casareo and two brothers, Firmoriel and Francis Casareo. Maria Mona was a loving wife, compassionate mother of seven, true friend and had a heart of gold. Maria was a faithful servant, child and lover of God Most High. How we love you! How we miss you! Maria had a Doctorate of Medicine from Eastern University, Manila Philippines. Visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Desert Sunset Funeral Home, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd. on Monday, July 26, 2010. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Maria N. Mona Charitable Trust.
