Marian Phoebe Swartz Hughes born August 8, 1941 in Missoula Montana to Goldie Ione Sellards and Ted Swartz passed away unexpectedly August 27, 2010 of organ failure.She is survived by her five children; Karen Raiford, Karol Mitchell, David McCarter, Marian McCarter, John McCarter and her eight grandchildren; Ashli McCarter, Rachel Raiford, Kaitlyn McCarter, Kailei Bicknell, Spencer Bicknell, Michael Keavey, Brigitte Keavey, and Colin Keavey. She is also survived by her brother Bob Swartz, sisters Helen Smirthwaite, Maxine Reeder and Kathy Sellards. Marian was a Licensed Nurses Assistant and enabled many people to live out their lives at home, something she believed and lived. Throughout her life she lived independently and strived to enable others to live their lives fully and independently.
