June 18th, 1921 - October 9th, 2012
Mrs. Marian B. Hutton, 91, formerly of Chuctanunda Street, Hagaman, NY died peacefully on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 18, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Blair Sackett and Myrtle Kissinger Sackett. A lifelong area resident, Marian was a 1938 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. A homemaker all of her life, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Hagaman United Methodist Church and later Calvary Reformed Church of Hagaman. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Kelly Hutton and by their daughter Roberta Kay Hutton. Survivors include her son, Ronald Hutton and his wife Janet of Bear, DE; daughter, Betty Albright and her husband Skip of Glenmont, NY; three grandsons, James Maggie Hutton, Eric Jessica Hutton and Robert Albright; 6 great grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Joshua, John, Andrew and Katie Rose Hutton; one brother, Nelson Sackett Virginia of Johnstown, NY; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Fulton County R.H.C.F. for their loving care of Marian for the past 10 years. A Service of Remembrance will take place at a later date. Burial will take place in the Chuctanunda Cemetery, Minaville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marian's memory to a charity of one's choice.
