May 28th, 1939 - April 16th, 2021
Westfield--Marianne Germain, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 16, 2021 at Armbrook Village Senior Living. Daughter of the late Cuthbert and Kathleen (Ross) Robinson, she was born in Port Jervis, NJ on May 28, 1939. After obtaining her Associate's Degree, she worked for many years as a school secretary. She enjoyed clowning, civil war reenactment, and traveling. She was well-versed in various crafting and art projects. She inspired a brighter day with her infectious smile and laughter. Marianne will be dearly missed by all who knew her, including her children, Robbin Germain of Johnson City, TN, Bonnie Germain of Chicopee, and Kevin and his wife, Dianne Germain of Easthampton; her grandchildren, Isidora, Jennifer, Sam, & Matt; her great grandchildren, Kaidan, Tiffiny, & Natalie; as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 9:00-11:00am at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N Main St. A funeral home service will be held for family only beginning at 11:00am, however those wishing to remotely attend via phone or computer, may do so by visiting the following link prior to the start of the service https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/598273641 Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
