Marianne G. Lane, 65, of Yuba City, left this earth on February 1, 2015 to be with her Savior and her beloved husband, Carl, after a brief illness. Born in Monroe, Michigan graduated from Fresno High, CA. Loved her work as a waitress, bookkeeper, tax specialist, worked with Stagehands and elected Mayor of Colusa, CA.Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; mother and stepfather, Vi and Gerald Sartain; sister, Michelle Ron Geer, and her Grammy. Survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Anderson (Pee Wee) (Eric); grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Ashley of Yuba City; sisters, Madelon (Rodney) Morgan of Ballaire, Mich., Melinda Montgomery of Duluth, MN; brother, Gordon Montgomery of Esko, MN; numerous nieces and nephews and many others whose lives she touched.A member of Meridian United Methodist Church. She will be dearly missed. Service will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City, at 1:00 pm on February 20, 2015.
