Marie Corsentino November 4, 1917 �" January 24, 2009 Residence: Greeley, CO Tribute: Marie Corsentino was born in Pueblo, CO to James and Catherine (LaBella) Parlapiano. She grew up on a vegetable farm near Pueblo until she was 21 years old. On November 27, 1938 Marie married Charles Corsentino in Pueblo and then moved to the Brighton area, where her and her husband farmed until 1964. She then moved to Glenwood Springs and bought Storm King Mobile Home Park that her and her husband owned and operated. After Charles passed away, she then relocated to Greeley and continued to raise her children. Mrs. Corsentino enjoyed being with her family and cooking for them. She also enjoyed watching soap operas and baseball, gardening, bowling, and listening to music. Mrs. Corsentino was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She will be remembered as being a very independent and religious woman. Mrs. Corsentino died Saturday January 24, 2009 at Garden Square at Westlake Assisted Living in Greeley. Survivors: children, Lee (Nancy) Corsentino of Wiggins, CO, Sylvia (Gary) Goddard of Mesa, AZ, Jim (Sue) Corsentino of Glenwood Springs, CO, Cheryl (Mike) Kurtz of Firestone, CO, and Donna (Doug) Walker of Fort Lupton, CO; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sister, Rose Conway of Pueblo, CO. Preceded in death by: parents, James and Catherine Parlapiano; husband, Charles; daughter, Catherine Formby; grandson, Bryan Formby; brothers, Mike Parlapiano, Carl Parlapiano, Sam Parlapiano, Charles Todesco, Joe Todesco, Paul Todesco; Sisters, Grace Plutt, Jeanne Polidori and Mary Geanetta. Visitation: 5:00 �" 7:00p.m. Wednesday January 28, 2009 at the Adamson Chapel with a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday January 29, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave., Greeley, CO Interment: 1:30 p.m. Friday January 30, 2009 at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs, CO Note: Memorial Contributions may be made to "Garden Square Assisted Living” c/o Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, CO 80634.
