Marie Ann DeNaro

Marie Ann DeNaro passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2021, with family at her bedside, at Consulate Health Care in Melbourne while in the care of Vitas Hospice at the age of 88. Marie was born in Madison, NJ in 1932, the daughter of Francesco and Concetta Delorenzo. She married Russ DeNaro in 1956 and lived in Chatham, NJ before moving to Melbourne, FL in 1980. Marie was predeceased by sisters Rose Scioscia of Summit, NJ, Antoinette Ginatasio of Madison, NJ, Frances Delorenzo of Madison, NJ and Angeline Prisco of Florham Park, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Russ DeNaro, daughters Cindy Whitmore of Melbourne, FL and Rose Marie Wallace and husband Michael of Garden Ridge, TX, her grandchildren, Christopher Whitmore and wife Lisa, Brandon Whitmore of Melbourne, FL, Ellen Wallace of Converse, TX., her great-grandson Connor Whitmore of Melbourne, FL, and sisters, Marge DeBiasse of Manahawkin, NJ, and Dorothy Cocuzza of Madison, NJ. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and, great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and golf. She cherished spending time with family and friends. Marie was a gracious host to visiting friends and relatives, always putting others first. She brought joy to every holiday and special occasion. Those who knew Marie will remember her delicious Italian cooking, her bright smile, the way she endlessly cared for her family, and devotion to the Blessed Mother. A Mass, proceeded by a Vigil will be held on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1710 Hickory Street, Melbourne. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 1422 Miller St.,Palm Bay.
