Marie C. Guay, (nee Kovacs) of Mickleton, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. She was 82.
Legacy
Born and raised in Roebling, Marie graduated from Florence Twp. High School and continued her education at University of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Marie entered the United States Air Force and rose to the rank of Captain. While in the service, she met Larry Guay and they married in September of 1973. After living in Alaska for 15 years; Marie and her family settled back in New Jersey and she worked for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for more than 10 years. Marie will be remembered as a woman who loved her Roman Catholic faith and will be remembered for her strong willed personality. Marie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family
Marie is the beloved wife of Larry Guay; cherished mother of Robert Guay and his wife Alexandra; loving grandmother of Abby Guay; dear sister of Gloria WIlson; beloved aunt of George Yurcho, and his wife, Dennise and Karyn Dooley,and her husband, Pat.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marie's viewing on Thursday, May 16, 2024 after 10:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11 AM.
