Marie Josephine Lang, age 88, of St. Petersburg, passed away on September 21st, 2024.
She was born in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Marie attended Nursing School at the University of Buffalo and graduated in 1958. During that time, she was the University of Buffalo Home Coming Queen. She became a Surgical Nurse even before she graduated. Marie loved being a surgical nurse, and it was the only area of nursing in which she worked.
Marie also enjoyed crocheting,
painting, reading, and watching scary movies and Buffalo Bills football games with her son, Kurt.
She is survived by sons Kurt (wife Jaime), Kary, Kris (wife Romely), and Kyle; daughter Kim and granddaughter Crystal. And many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
When Marie entered Heaven, she was greeted by all the dogs she ever loved: Sugar, Missy, Max, Maggie, Macy, Muggsy, Molly, Mr. Wilson, and Mickey.
