Marie M. Meunier, age 87 years and seven months recently of Federal Way, Washington was born on May 11, l918 in Westwood, New Jersey to George J. and Margaret R. (Edelmann) Schumacher and died on December 9, 2005 in Seattle, WA. She married Robert L. Meunier on June 19, 1954, who preceded her in death on January 12, 1981, and lived in Arcadia, California for over 52 years before moving to Federal Way, WA in December 2004. Marie was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple City, CA for over 50 years. She had been employed by Bendix Aircraft Co. and AT&T in New Jersey; and by Electron Products, Marshall Industries, TRW, and American Capacitor in Southern California before retiring in 1989. She is survived by a stepson Raymond Meunier and his wife Anna of Arcadia, CA and their children Robert Meunier and his wife Jan of Mission Viejo, CA; Rita Gottlieb and three great grandchildren (Nathan, Aaron, and Rachel) of Thousand Oaks, CA; two brothers Raymond Schumacher and his wife Rose of River Vale, NJ, Thomas Schumacher and his wife Barbara of New Milford, NJ; and two sisters, Margaret Krause, of Henderson, NV, Joan Staab and her husband Joseph of Federal Way, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: George, August, Andrew, Edward, Joseph, and Robert Schumacher, and sister Helen Rondinara and infant sisters Anna and Madeline Schumacher. A mass and memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Temple City, CA with inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
