Marie Alice Walker

Marie Alice Walker of Dorchester, SC passed into eternal rest the morning of January 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Wando, SC on June 25, 1925 a daughter of the late Alonzo Wesley Eadie and Thelma Litchfield Eadie. A loving mother and friend, Marie was a lifelong homemaker; she had a passion for gardening and all things outdoors and was never without a small canine companion to warm her lap. Marie is survived by her children Terry Walker of Walterboro, SC, Russell O. Walker, Thelma J. Smoak and Randall G. Walker of Dorchester, SC, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; and her girls, Candy and Peaches. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Asbury James Walker. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services.
