Marilyn Jean Barnett, 75, passed away March 2, 2022, at home in Chehalis, Washington with family by her side. Born January 2, 1947, to Ernie and Marie Rose, she grew up in the Boistfort Valley through the 8th grade; then her family moved to Chehalis where she joined the graduating class of 1965. She married Jim Barnett on November 24, 1984. Marilyn loved all her family and friends very much. She played an active role as a leader in Brownies and Girl Scouts, where she enjoyed campouts with her daughter. She enjoyed and looked forward to monthly luncheons with her friends, loved attending all sporting events of her grandchildren, and most of all loved to travel with her husband, especially to Cabo where they went every March. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Marie Rose; brother, John Rose; and son, Brian Hardie. She is survived by her husband, Jim Barnett; daughter, Trina Rowland (JD); grandsons, Brandon Barnes (Samantha), Jeremy Barnes (Ashley) and DJ Schlittler (Mikayla); and great-grandsons, Rylan and Grayson Schlittler, and Ayden and Kyson Barnes. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
