MARILYN I. MAY A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Chico. Long time Wisconsin resident passed away January 21, 2017 at the age of 87 in Chico, California. Marilyn was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on September 26, 1929 to Gerald May and Algunda Bammel-May. Marilyn had one sister, Dorothy May Schmale (Elmore). Marilyn moved to Chico, California in 2013 to be near her only living family, her niece, Judith L. Schmale-Thompson. Marilyn was employed in the printing industry for more than 40 years. She was educated as a printing estimator but served many years as a customer service representative for Webcrafters, Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin. She retired from Webcrafters, Inc. in 1994. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison and in their XYZ seniors' ministry. Marilyn became a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Chico in 2014. Marilyn is survived by her only niece, Judith L. Thompson (Bert), grandnephew, Darren Wing, and two grandnieces, Beth Turner (David) and Barbra Jones (Scott), and four great-grandnieces and nephews.
