Frankfort, Kentucky Frankfort- Marilyn Monroe, age 72 of Frankfort passed away Friday evening at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Marilyn was born on June 9, 1942 in Versailles, KY to the late James and Katherine Redmon. Marilyn was married to William Monroe Sr. also of Frankfort. Marilyn is also survived by the following children William Monroe Jr. and his wife Marie, Tammy Cook and her husband Dan, Robert Monroe, James Monroe and his wife Bonnie, Herbert Monroe and his wife Sarah, Lisa Perez and her husband Mario, Larry Monroe and his wife Shannon, Johnny Monroe and his wife Rhonda, Danny Monroe and his wife Diane, and Charlie Monroe and his wife Cara all of Frankfort, also Pattie McDowell and her husband Rod of Indiana. Marilyn is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services for Marilyn Monroe will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday August 5, 2014 at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The family of Marilyn Monroe will receive friends from 5-8PM Monday at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort.
