Marilyn Audrey Norene Downey 86 of St. Petersburg passed away Feb. 19, 2016. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and GG, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, James O. Downey. A native of Lockport NY, Marilyn is survived by eight children; sons James Michael, Dennis Wayne, Gary Joseph and John David; daughters Maureen Sharp, Sheila Downey, Eileen Trudeau and Noreen Erickson; sisters Muriel Ferguson of Lockport NY and Jeanne Ward of Sacramento CA; 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 5-7PM at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, where funeral services will be 11AM Thursday. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
