Marina Catherine Hale

Obituary Marina Catherine (Coriat) Hale 61 of Colorado Springs passed away April 25th in the comfort of her home. She was born Sept 1st 1960 to Jose` and Carroll Coriat in Caracas Venezuela. She moved with her family to the United States at age 15. She attended Coral Springs high school, graduating in 1978. In 1979 she met her future husband Rian Hale in Disney world through a mutual friend. It was there on the haunted mansion ride they shared their first kiss and became inseparable. They married Sept. 6th, 1980, and honeymooned back at Disney world where they first met. They were married for 41 loving years having four children along the way, Rian II, Carroll, Philip, and Stacey. In 1989 they moved to Colorado where they continued their loving marriage until the end of her days. She was a lover of all animals, most of all big cats. A caring person who often opened her home to friends, or friends of her children in their times of needs. She had many hobbies throughout her life including cross-stitch, crocheting, knitting, fishing, skydiving, bowling, collecting seashells, gaming and a love of comedies. She was a fierce competitor in bowling, poker, Dr. Mario, and really all aspects of her life. A music lover and a skilled piano player. She had an absolute love of laughter, and life. A lover of all children. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Carroll Coriat. Siblings Larry, Anita and Carlos Coriat. Mother in laws Mary Joe and Bunny Hale. Sister in laws Rose Mary and Caren. Brother-in-law Jeffery Hale. Daughter in Law Britney Hale, and granddaughter Piper Hale. She is survived by Husband Rian Hale. Four Children, Rian Hale II, Carroll Hale, Philip (Shannon) Hale, Stacey (Leif) Thomas. Nine Grandchildren, Michael Watkins, Brett and Sophie Hale, Nina Mckeever, Kourtnee, Khloe and Kynzlie Chermack, Liam and Tyra Thomas. Three Great grandchildren, Julian, Joseph, and Violet Mckeever. Two Sisters, Alice Coriat, Margaret (Manny) Grullon. Two Brothers, Freddy and Philip (Marina) Coriat. Four Nieces, Ina (Bao) Nguyen, Ani (David) Bovenzi, Carolina, Maligros. Nephew Pablo Coriat. Father-in-law Seth Hale. Sister-in-law Kim Beaulieu. As well as many cousins. She was loved by all and will remain in our hearts always and forever.
