Mario Pozadas

Obituary Mario Pozadas, Sr. (age 85) of Fort Collins, CO passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Neycy, by his side, on August 10, 2015 at his home, of natural causes. Mario was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Central America on September 25, 1929. Having lived the early part of his life in Honduras; he emigrated to the United States in his 30's. Landing in New York, he stayed and worked in that local area, before moving to Philadelphia (suburbs) were he lived with his family for approximately 30 years. Mario worked with heavy machinery in road construction, and managed to start his own business paving roads in the growing cities of Honduras. Later in his life, he continued his career in road construction, as a highly experienced road grader in the Philadelphia Metro area. In retirement, Mario moved to Port Ritchie, Florida, where he lived his wife of 53 years, Neycy (Prince) Pozadas. They resided in Central Florida for approximately 13 years, before moving to Fort Collins, CO to be near his family. Mario is survived by his wife, Neycy (married 53 years) and his children: Menelio Posadas (Mireya) Philadelphia, PA., Margarita Nicoletti (Jim) Fort Collins, CO., Mario Pozadas, Jr. (Denora) Trenton, NJ., Nurth Menghetti (Jerry) Yardley, PA., Mary Jill Pozadas, Doylestown, PA., Ivette Barry (Walter) Scottsdale, AZ., Josette Thompson (Will) Fort Collins, CO., Gina Juliano (James) Yarley, PA and Lily Goldman (Jeff) Boston, MA. Along with many grandchildren & great grandchildren. A private viewing service will take place at the Vessey Funeral Home, in Fort Collins, CO, on August 13, 2015 at 11 AM; and cremation will be shortly afterwards.
