Marisa Teel August 19, 1978 - October 4, 2008 Age: 30 Residence: Platteville, Colorado Tribute: Marisa Rae Teel was born in Denver, CO. to Brian and Sandi (Brown) Diebel. She grew up in Arvada, CO and graduated from Faith Christian High School in 1997. On Dec. 19, 1998 she married Jed Teel in Brighton, CO. They moved to Platteville in 2003. Marisa was proud of her role as wife and mother and enjoyed her home and caring for her family. She recently began working as a substitute teacher for Weld County School District RE-1. She also enjoyed hiking, camping, and reading. Marisa had a genuine concern for others and people were drawn to her for her quiet spirit and big heart. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and a good friend. Marisa died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley as a result of injuries she received from an automobile accident on September 26th in Platteville. Survivors: Her husband, Jed Teel of Platteville; daughters, Trinity , Kailey and Jadyn; parents, Brian and Sandi Diebel; brothers, Matt Diebel and Joel Diebel;grandparents, Rita Diebel and Don and Barbara Brown. Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at LifeBridge Christian Church 10345 Ute Highway, Longmont, Colorado. Interment: Foothills Garden of Memory in Longmont.
