Marge K. Diestler lifelong resident of Waukesha passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of Rueben and Gertrude Pike. Marge married the love of her life, Norman Diestler on August 30, 1946. She was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church and active with the Christian Mothers. Marge enjoyed knitting, fancy work sewing and making dresses for family and even the habits for the nuns at St. William's. Most of all she loved spending time as a homemaker and with her family. Marge will be sadly missed by her two children, Kathleen (LaMar) Himebauch of FL and Tom Diestler of Waukesha; grandchild, Tina (Frank) Rowlee of Mindoro, WI; great-grandchildren, Samantha (Andrew) Cooper of Holmen, WI and Krystal Rowlee of Mindoro, WI; great- great-grandchildren, Lily Marie Cooper and Maci Jean Marjorie Cooper; brothers, Don (Jenny) Pike of Waukesha, John (Sue) Pike of Menomonee Falls; sister-in-law, Audrey Pike of AR; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman and brother, Howard. A visitation for Marge will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St William Catholic Church for Masses or Season's Hospice, 3217 Fiddlers Creek Dr., Waukesha, WI 53188 would be appreciated. The family would like to give a special thank you to the nursing staff at Season's Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to Marge.
