Marjorie Eastman

June 11th, 1927 - December 30th, 2011

Marjorie died peacefully in her home on December 30th after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Dixon, Illinois to Charles and Lila Schultheis on June 11, 1927. She attended Dixon High School until her family moved to Portland when she was 16 years old, where she graduated from Franklin High School. She married Lawrence (Larry) Eastman on September 19, 1958 and together they had four children; three daughters and a son. She was a member of Portland Junior Woman’s Club and made lifelong friends with other woman from this organization. Marjorie and her husband Larry loved to dance, bowl, and play bridge. For many years they owned a vacation home in Cannon Beach, their children have many fond memories of times spent there. In her later years she became an avid golfer and made many friends that she loved to golf with. She and Larry moved to Summerfield in Tigard in 1979 and they greatly enjoyed the friends that they made within the community. She is survived by her loving children, Cindy Lester, Hope Current (Dennis), Mary Paulson, and Roger Eastman; grandchildren, Christopher Current (Tiffany), Dawn Rambo (Steven), Kalib Parker, Selah Klaver Ewert, Tuesday Paulson, Autumn Paulson, Cameron Klaver; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Mason, Marissa, Zach, Braydon, Trenton, Phoenix, Aden, Arian, Dakota; and great-great-granddaughter, Rylie Isabella. She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Larry, and her parents Charles and Lila Schultheis. She will be forever missed. Interment Ceremony is pending. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Legacy Hospice. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals, Cremation & Burial, Tigard, Oregon.
