Marjorie Louise Park

Marjorie Louise Park was born at home northeast of Oxford, Nebraska, on June 4, 1926, to Edward and Jessie (Finton) Stump. She was the eighth child of six girls and four boys. She married Vern Park on October 17, 1942, in Holdrege, Nebraska, shortly after starting her senior year at Oxford High School. They had four children, Fern in 1943, Jerry in 1944, Edward in 1946 and Doug in 1950. The family moved to Greeley, Colorado in 1957. She was a homemaker and daycare provider most of her adult life. She enjoyed needlework and other crafts and watching the Denver Broncos play. Marjorie is survived by her son, Jerry (Pam) Park of Greeley; daughter in law, Gerry Park of Albuquerque, NM; and son in law, Larry Dietz of Oxford; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Doug in 1967 and Edward in 2011; her daughter, Fern Dietz in 2007; husband, Vern in 1996; and all her siblings. Visitation 3-8pm Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Adamson Chapel.
