Marjorie Adele Sundin
March 1st, 1928 - October 30th, 2021
Marjorie A. Sundin, 93 years of age, a long-time resident of Merritt Island, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021. She is survived by her long-time friend and partner, Robert Ivanov. She is also survived by her son, Harold E. Sundin and his wife Nora of The Villages, Fl. and their daughter, Melinda Kerrigan, and her husband, John, and their two daughters consisting of Kayla Kerrigan and Avery Kerrigan: and Glenn T. Sundin, and his wife, Cynthia, of Satellite Beach, Fl. And their two children consisting of Glenn T. Sundin II, and Cynthia R. Sundin: and her son, Mark F. Sundin, and his wife Hakima, of Orlando, Fl., and their two children consisting of Sophia Sundin and Sarah Sundin. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Harold O. Sundin who died on October 7, 1985 and was a decorated World War II Veteran. She was predeceased by her grandson Shawn T. Sundin who died on July 15, 1999. She was also predeceased by her brother Charles H. Kelly Jr. who died on September 12, 2018, who was from Islip New York. He was survived by his son Anthony Kelly who is also from Islip, New York. She was also predeceased by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Kelly from Islip, New York. Marjorie was retired for many years from Publix Supermarket Company. But she never really retired as her and her partner assisted her son in his law practice on Merritt Island, Florida for many years. Prior to retiring from Publix Supermarket Company, she worked for Brevard County Public Schools and state hospitals in Miami, Florida and Central Islip, New York. Marjorie’s primary hobby was shopping for gifts for family and friends. She was very generous, giving and kind person who never forgot birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and special events. She also loved to travel and enjoyed cruise ships. A funeral service will be held at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home at 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge (Viera), Florida 32955 on Friday, November 5, 2021, with viewing beginning at 11:00 A.M. and a formal service beginning at 1:00 P.M. She will be entombed at a later date with her late husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
