Mark D Beaner

Obituary In loving memory of Mark Duane Beaner of Fort Collins. Mark passed away from complications of Covid on Wednesday September 29th 2021. Mark was born in Miller, SD in 1955. The family moved to Fort Collins in October 1965, he graduated from Poudre High School, Class of 1973. Shortly after graduation he joined his father in the family business Choice City Auto Body, which was a natural fit as he was a car buff for as long as anyone can remember. When his father retired Mark took over the daily operations of the business and was working in the business until the time he entered the Poudre Valley Hospital, 6 weeks ago where he remained until his passing. Later in life, Mark had two kind, sweet, loving daughters that he adored, Rachael Sweets and Alissa Squishy Gore, he tragically suffered the loss of his elder daughter Rachael in a car accident in 2016. He was an avid fan of all things racing NHRA, Nascar, Mile High Nationals, Nitro Knockout, Funny Car and just about any other auto racing you can think of. Mark was a huge fan of music, and had a music collection envied by many. Mark himself was quite an accomplished drummer and for several years played with a local garage band. He had a natural talent for drawing, in his younger years he was encouraged by family to pursue a career in graphic arts, but his passions were in other areas. He is survived by his parents Roger and JoAnn Beaner , his daughter Alissa, his brother Rex all of Fort Collins, his sister Valerie (Bo) Tumlinson of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and his sister Andrea (Lennie) Jordan of Windsor, CO.
