Fritz attended London grade school through fifth grade, then went to Cambridge where he graduated in 1971 from Cambridge High School. Activities he enjoyed included hunting, fishing Spring Lake near Spooner, coaching The Spa girls softball team and playing slow pitch for the Spa. He also enjoyed playing fantasy baseball at the London Depot. After Fritz quit farming, he ran a bar called “Fritzy’s,” in downtown Cambridge. Survivors include brothers, Jon (Mary) and Dale (Ann); sister-in-law, Sandy (Greg) Vike; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Per Fritz’s request, there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 2PM until 4PM at the London Depot in London, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Rainbow Hospice or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank SSM St. Mary’s hospital seventh floor doctors and staff, and Rainbow Hospice staff for the care of Fritz.
