Mark Alan Hensley, 58, went home to be with the Lord May 11, 2016. A Gathering of his friends and family will be held 4:00PM until 5:00PM Wednesday May 18, 2016 at the Jefferson House located beside of Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services in Kernersville. A native of Rutherford County, North Carolina, Mark was the son of the late Morris Jefferson Hensley and Betty Carver Burns who survives. Outgoing, friendly, funny, and helpful to anyone who needed his help, Mark truly will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving wife Gloria Hensley of Walkertown; Shane Hensley, Gabriel Hensley and wife Amber, Madison Mayer, and Wendy LaPointe and Robert; grandchildren Jessica Hensley, Hailey Hensley, Gabriel Hensley, II, Gloria Herman, and Caleb LaPointe; brothers Ronnie Hensley and wife Linda, Jeffrey Hensley, and Bryan Hensley; mother Betty Burns; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
