Mark Cameron Jones 1954-2012 Mark Cameron Jones was born in Logan, Utah, on August 20, 1954, to Don Elwin and Marian Waibel Jones. He died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Mark was a licensed psychologist who graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (BA, MA). He attended the University of Denver where he completed all doctoral work except his dissertation. In addition, he earned his licensure as a Specialist in School Psychology from the University of Wyoming. Mark served on multiple community boards including: alternative education, victims of domestic violence, child protection, court consultation in child and family services, and social service boards. Mark married Connie Lyn McDonald on December 20, 1975. They raised three sons: Joshua Allan, Eric Scott, and Kevin Mac. They lived in Lakewood and Littleton, Colorado, as well as eight years in Casper and Thermopolis, Wyoming, where he was the Clinical Director for a state psychiatric facility for children and adolescents. Later he worked as a psychologist in forensic, community, school and private practice. Mark loved the outdoors: skiing, boating, camping, hunting and fly fishing. Mark was a man who was passionate about life, and two of his favorite passions were music, both as an accomplished guitar player and a singer/songwriter, and writing, having completed four novels and a collection of short stories, with his novel Borderlands scheduled to be published this summer. Mark was preceded in death by his twin sons, Lucas Mark and Nicholas Lyn, and his father, Don E. Jones. He is survived by Connie and their sons: Josh (Sara), Eric, and Kevin; his mother, Marian W. Jones; his sister, Kathleen Christie †œK.C.†� Leniger (Kurt), nephew Jeffrey (Cyrena; sons, Judah and Luke); niece Jana, and nephew Justin. Also, he is survived by a special aunt, Jane Fowler, and many others who loved him.
