Mark Allen Kennedy, 67, of Homedale, Idaho passed from this life in the arms of Christ his Savior on Saturday, August 03, 2024.

Mark was born on November 30, 1956, to John and Barbara Kennedy in Twin Falls, Idaho.  He was raised in a Christian home by loving parents and spent his childhood and most of his life in Boise, Idaho.  He graduated from Borah High School and went on to earn an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science with a minor in Music, all from Boise State University.  While Mark had obtained a good education in these subjects, his true love in life was for music.  Mark wrote and recorded numerous songs of his own throughout his lifetime.  He was an excellent musician and made his living playing bass guitar for some of the most in demand bands in the Northwest region during the 1980's -2000's, such as 'The Uninvited' and 'Redstone'.  He also owned his own small recording studio.  In 1996, Mark moved to Homedale, Idaho where, with the help of his Dad, he built his own house.  He felt very grateful and blessed to have been able to have, and build, his home with his Dad.

Mark was preceded in death by the parents he loved dearly, John and Barbara (Brown) Kennedy, as well as both sets of his grandparents, and his nephew Micah Kennedy.  Mark leaves behind his three siblings, Raymond (Marcia) Kennedy, Steven Kennedy, and Sharon Kennedy, as well as three nephews and a neice, all of Nampa, Idaho.

Mark was a loving, thoughtful, and devoted son, who did a great deal to help the family after his mother's death in 1978.  He was a loving, caring, and thoughtful brother and will be deeply and always missed.

Memorial Service details to be decided at a later date. Family and friends will be notified of details by Mark's siblings at that time.
