Mark Corey Merrill
December 20th, 1966 - May 21st, 2003
" Monson, Mark C. Merrill, 36, died Wednesday May 21, 2003 at Baystate Medical Center. The son of Esther A. (Corey) Merrill of Wilbraham and the late Fred W. Merrill. Mark was born in Springfield, MA on Dec.20, 1966. He graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School and also attended Western New England College. Mark was employed for many years by the family owned business, Merrill Associates, before becoming President of the company now known as the Merrill Group. He was a member of Illuminating Engineers Society of New England and was respected in his profession. An avid gardener and nature enthusiast, Mark was a generous and loving father, son brother and friend who will be missed dearly. He is survived by his son Matthew W. Merrill, six siblings Fred Merrill, Jr, Linda Scott, Karen Mote, Steven Merrill, Lisa Bogacz and Teena Philyaw, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00am at the BEERS & STORY PALMER FUNERAL Home, followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Calling hours are Wed. from 4:00-8:00 pm. "
