Mark Andrew Musselman

Mark was born in Ottumwa, Iowa and grew up on the family farm south of Bloomfield, Iowa with his parents Roger and Nancy Musselman and brothers, Matthew, Michael, Aaron and Andrew. Mark enjoyed life on the farm and was involved in milking cows, and raising beef cattle and hogs with his family. His favorite activity on the farm was training and riding horses. He developed his strong work-ethic early in life and was frequently the "fixer” for broken farm machinery. Mark committed his life to Christ at age 17. He graduated from Davis County Community High School in 1989 and pursued a career in construction and contracting sales. Mark married Dana Massner in 1991 and has two sons Cole and Clayton. Mark later married Ara O’Hayre in 2003. Mark was employed at Champion Windows in Loveland, CO as the Manager of Window Sales & Installation. He attended Vineyard Church in Ft Collins, CO. Mark was known for his smile and kind nature. As a hardworking and giving person, he was always willing to help others in need. He is missed by all who love him. Survivors: Cole 18, son, of Mediapolis, IA, Clayton 15, son, of Mediapolis, IA; Roger and Nancy Musselman, father and mother of Hopedale, IL; Matthew Musselman (Lynne), brother of Kansas City, MO, Michael Musselman (Carrie Ann), brother of Goodfield, IL, Aaron Musselman (Nichole), brother of Mt Pleasant, IA Andrew Musselman, brother of Morton, IL; Cleo and Esther Rinkenberger, grandparents of Peoria, IL He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Irene Musselman. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established to help fund college education for Mark’s sons Cole and Clayton. Checks may be made payable to "Musselman Education Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. A viewing will be held for his Colorado friends at Adamson Chapel in Greeley, CO from 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Mark will travel back to Iowa and a visitation will be held at Hagele & Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, Iowa from 4-8 pm on Monday, May 23, 2011. His funeral service will be conducted at Harmony Bible Church in Danville, IA at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery at Mediapolis, IA.
