Mark James Sanders, age 75, tragically passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 26, 2022. He was born on March 1, 1947 in Marshalltown, Iowa to parents Ivy Greenbury Sanders and Geraldine Louise Gazaway. Mark bravely and proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a Specialist Four in December of 1968. Preceding Mark in death are his parents Ivy Greenbury Sanders and Geraldine Louise Sanders. Those left behind to cherish the memories they had with Mark are loving wife, Leigh Ellen Sobe, daughter, Timber Martinez, grandchildren Liliana Isabel Martinez and Angelo Raphael Martinez as well as his devoted friends and extended family. Mark will be inurned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery with Army honors on October 14, 2022 at 10:00AM.
