Mark Scott Schneider 59, left us suddenly on Thursday, January 27, 2011. He was born October 29, 1951, in Ft. Morgan, Colorado, to Alma (Stroh) and Harry Schneider. Mark graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1969 and attended the Moody Bible Institute and the University of Southern Colorado. At the time of his death, Mark was enjoying retirement after working as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for more than 32 years. Mark enjoyed playing guitar, following the Denver Broncos, painting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; his son, Jason Schneider; his daughters, Amber Schneider and Melanie Mcleod; his grandchildren, Audrey Schneider and Gavin Mcleod, all of Tucson and his brother, Michael Schneider of Denver, Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 2800 W. Ina Road in Tucson. The family asks that memorial gifts be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Tucson Chapter. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
