Marlene E. Gargiulo

Marlene E. Gargiulo, 85, passed away April 17, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Marlene was born March 15, 1934 in Amsterdam, and is the daughter of the late Elwood and Marguerite (Tabor) Husted. She is survived by her children Susan (Duane) Butts, Cathy (Don) Gardner, Edward (Barbara) Hume, and Terry (Tim) Wood. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband Robert who passed away August 31, 2013. Her daughter Arlene Jennings, two brothers Robert, Ronald, and one sister Shirley Markert. Also by her grandchildren Wade, and Joshua. During her lifetime she was a lifelong area resident, she attended the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, She work at Fay’s, and the Sanford Home for many years. She was an avid bowler. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at 1 PM at the Hagaman Cemetery with Pastor William T. Hodgetts Jr. from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Amsterdam. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
