Marlene Knobbe, 80 years young of Denver, CO. Wife of Laurin C. Knobbe. Mother of Kyle, Rena, Lorene and Fayne. Grandmother of Kyle Jr., Jimi, Shane, Adrianna, Amber, Amanda, Rachael and Micayla Great grandmother of Mariah, Uriah, Ashton, Aidan, Kaidyn, Brooke, Abel, Kailyn, Athon, JP, Peyton and one on the way. Great great grandmother of King Our Mother was quite a character. She was a go getter she was a lover of animals She said jokingly I must have been a dog in my previous life cause she couldn't be cruel to any animal. She spoiled every dog she ever had. She made sure her family and grand kids knew about heritage every Christmas we would have crackers and English candy smarties tea cakes she actually worked at Roundtree before she moved to America. She loved everything about England which she thought the candy was better than American candy. how the food was better she made sure all of her kids and grand daughters were able to go to England. She had cousins over there and would talk to them once a week, she only had 1 brother so her three cousins were like sisters to her. She loved Judge Judy, she said I like her because she†™s truthful and tells them like it is and that†™s definitely how she was. She also loved games and loved to gamble, she taught us all how to play poker and loved watching the game show channel. She loved to laugh and keep active on the 7 20 memorial committee because she wanted people to have a peaceful place to go after the aurora theater massacre which her grand daughter Micayla Medek was killed in.. Funeral service, 12:00pm Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church 11385 Grant Street. Northglenn, CO. Flowers may be sent to Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Reflection Memorial Garden c/o 720 Memorial Foundation 15151 E.
