Marshall S. Gootson
July 17th, 1923 - August 19th, 2015
Marshall S. Gootson 92 of Clearwater, formerly of St. Petersburg passed away August 19, 2015. A native of London, Ontario Canada, Marshall was the son of the late Meyer and Sarah Gootson. A retired building contractor, Marshall was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom of Clearwater, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his son Barry Gootson and wife Betty, daughters Deborah McGhie and husband Alan, Mindy Spigel and husband Barry; sister Rhea Jack; companion Bette Sharp; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held August 20, 2015 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Largo. Shiva will be observed at 7 PM on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at the home of Barry and Betty Gootson, 9056 Baywood Park Drive, Seminole FL 33777. Donations in his memory would be appreciated to Congregation Beth Shalom of Clearwater or Menorah Manor in St. Petersburg. David C.
