Farrell, Martha E, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, November 13, 2009, at home. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she came here in 1953 from Lafayette, IN. In addition to being a graduate of St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing, she had a career in real estate and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and its Women's Guild. Preceded in death by her husband, George, and her children, Jeanne Farrell and Frank Farrell, she is survived by her daughter, Kathi Farrell Ward - St. Petersburg; son, Michael G. Farrell - Richmond, VA; two sisters, Anna Marie Feld - California and Helen Craig - Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Jessica Farrell Booksh and her husband Hayes - New Orleans, Sky Thomas Farrell and his wife Laurel - St. Petersburg, and Nicholas Joseph Ward - St. Petersburg; and two great grandchildren, Cristina and Logan. Family prefers memorial donations to St. Petersburg Free Clinic or Suncoast Hospice. Friends may call on Monday, November 16th from 4-7pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201-Dr. M.L. King St. N., where a wake service will be held at 6:30 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, November 17th, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
