Martha S. Krolikowski

Martha Sicilia Krolikowski, 76 of Florida Avenue, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 29, 1936 in Gloversville, NY a daughter of Henry E. and Helen Jarabek Sicilia. Martha graduated from Gloversville High School in 1954 and then graduated from Albany Business College. She worked many years for Attorney David Blatt and then for the Fulton County Clerk's office until retiring after 15 years. Martha spent her retirement enjoying family gatherings and trips to Florida, N. Carolina and Tuscany, a life long dream. She is survived by her devoted partner of 31 years, Vincent Parisi of Amsterdam, her loving children: Kim Sanders Martin of Lakeland, FL, Michael Sanders of Sebastian, FL and Nancy Krolikowski McDaniel of Manlius, NY; her grandchildren Britney and Kurt Sanders, Kasi Martin, and Lidia, Gianna and Duncan McDaniel; siblings Bonita Sicilia Waylett and Joseph Sicilia; step-brothers Larry Sicilia and John Wood; her Aunt Ceil Jarabek; nieces, nephews and cousins. Martha's family was the greatest source of joy in her life. The family would like to give thanks to the incredible caregivers at River Ridge Living Center and to the staff of Community Hospice of Amsterdam. A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be announced. Cremation will take place at Vale Crematorium in Schenectady.
