Marva J. Temanson, age 89, of Golden, Colorado passed away peacefully at St. Anthony's Hospital on February 19, 2012. Marva was born in Froid, Montana June 9, 1922 to Paul and Sally Fraley, who then moved to Minot, North Dakota. Marva graduated from Minot High School. Marva married Don Temanson in October 1943, at the Naval Air Base in Pensacola, Florida. Following his discharge, they returned to the Minot area to have six children. In 1954 they moved to Denver where they would later adopt their 7th child. Over the years, Marva worked for Fashion Bar clothing store and Safeway grocers. She enjoyed the Mile High Church family for over 35 years and participated in just about every activity. Her hobbies of painting, singing, and constantly coming up with one-liners were a part of her claim to fame. Marva is survived by one brother, Floyd (Virgina) of Minot, Fraley, 7 children Sally (Richard) Ellingson of Minot, Howard (Tina) Temanson of Florida, Kitty Townsend of Colorado, Kathy Smith of CA Terry (Lori) Temanson of Westfield WI, Tim (Lori) Temanson of Lakewood CO, John Temanson of Denver CO; 12 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Marva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, S. Donald Temanson, and sister Hazel (Eldow) Evenson. There will be a service of celebration on April 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Mile High Church in Lakewood, Colorado Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery Denver, Colorado.
