MARVEL G. TOMCZAK, 76 of Jefferson passed away Wednesday may 6, 2015 at her home in Jefferson. She was born on April 15, 1939, daughter of the late Leonard and Hazel (Forde) Ottney-Smorstad. She married Walter Tomczak on August 19, 1956 in Decorah, Iowa he preceded her in death on August 26, 1980. Marvel was employed at Thomas Industries and St. Coletta of Wisconsin. She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson. She is survived by her family; Daughters; Vicki (Matthew) Massey of Wausau, Cindi (Marvin) Kloskowski of Whitewater, Tanya Nordness of Fort Atkinson, Sons; Kevin (Tammy) Tomczak of Jefferson, Gregory (Jennifer) Tomczak of Cambridge. Ten grandchildren; Ethan Massey, Bridgett, John and Gary Kloskowski, Courtney and Tyler Tomczak, Trevor and Samantha Tomczak, Colin and Logan Nordness. And three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters; Nina LaPorte, Donna Ottney, two brothers; Lyle and Edward Ottney. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral in Jefferson with the Rev. Matthew Krenke officiating burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Jefferson.
