May 23rd, 1959 - October 13th, 2019
Marvin Wade Anderson, age 60, of Mountain Home, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. A Celebration of Life is to be held at 1PM at New Life Fellowship in Longview, Washington on November 9, 2019. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Marvin was born May 23, 1959, in Longview, Washington, to Joseph B. Anderson and Lassie M. Kell. He graduated from Mark Morris High School. Marvin was married to Connie M. Hurst of Kelso, Washington. He was a huge fan of the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners. He loved to play and joke around with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed holding his great grandson and enjoyed taking family trips, and he enjoyed having coffee and visiting his friends and family. Marvin is survived by his mother, Lassie M. Anderson, of Washington, his sister Shelia M. Vanderford of Oregon, daughter Chantine M. Anderson-Flock, sons Joseph W. Anderson, Travis O. Anderson all of Mountain Home, his son Troy L. Anderson of Washington, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his father.

Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
