Marvin Jack Bresn, age 79, of Las Vegas died Monday, June 15, 2009. Marvin was born February 17, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Isadore and the late Anna (Finkelstein) Bresn. Marvin served in the Navy from 1951 to 1955 and earned a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; son Nolan (Sherri) Bresn of Lake Zurich, IL; and grandchildren Cameron Bresn of Lake Zurich, Jessica Richwood of Las Vegas, Steven Richwood of Quartz Hill, CA, and Kelsi and Jenna Chubin of Burbank, CA. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, June 18 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, 89147. Interment will follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Donations in Marvin's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
