AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Mary "Louise" Allen, age 85, of Auburndale passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 in Lakeland due to heart failure. Mrs. Allen was born in Troy, Alabama to Audie & Estelle Myers and had lived in this area since 1965, coming from Montgomery, AL. She was retired as the secretary for her late husband's business, David Allen Wrecker, Paint & Body Shop. Mrs. Allen was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale and enjoyed crocheting and bowling. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Allen of Auburndale, 4 daughters, Sandra Shock of Lakeland, Sherron Kotowski, Debbie Turvin and Dee Cayson, all of Auburndale, 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10 AM at the church. Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale serving the family.
