One of three sisters, Mary Ann was the middle child and a Tom Boy. She loved to climb trees, get dirty and collected every animal and creature she could find. Her mom Priscilla and father Bernard divorced when she was young. Her mother Priscilla later was remarried to a man named George Carroll. Mary Ann introduced her mom to George when Mary Ann puts rocks in the gas tank of a car at the gas station where George worked. Angry George took the little Mary Ann to her home to talk to her mother as she lived walking distance. George saw Priscilla and the rest is history.Mary Ann graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle 1951. As teens she enjoyed fun times with her friends at Green Lake where they would go often. Jack was married before as well and had four children whom they spent a lot of time with: Debbie, Sheryl, Michael and Mark.Jack passed away un-expectantly after a routine back surgery in the recovery room. This was a very hard adjustment for Mary Ann. She had to be a mother and father to Ann Marie. Mary Ann traveled many times to Mexico and Hawaii bringing Ann Marie as she was growing up. One of her favorite trips was to Aruba. She also liked to square dance and was on a bowling league.Mary Ann was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners Seahawks; she never missed a game. She fancied the good looking players, and recently nick named our quarterback Russell Wilson sexy eyelashes and said Richard Sherman is way cuter than Lynch! She never ceased to amaze us all on how many scary movies she enjoyed. You almost couldnt name one she hadnt watched. The Lifetime and Hallmark channels were always on in her house. She was a big supporter of PAWS and other charities. She would feed the outside cats on a regular basis, and often get herself in trouble by the HOA.Mary Ann has gone through a lot in her life earning a nick name of Bionic Woman by breaking so many bones from the waist down.
