Mary Ann Hall

June 10th, 1935 - March 28th, 2024

Mary Ann Hall passed away on March 28, 2024, with her five children and family lovingly by her side. She was 88 years of age.

Mary Ann was born on June 10, 1935, in Monroe City, Missouri to Joseph and Marguerite (Pierceall) Mudd. She graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School in Denver, Colorado in 1953.

Mary Ann met the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Hall, on a blind date in 1955 and celebrated 59 years of marriage. Together, along with their five children, they moved around Colorado, including, Denver, Colorado Springs, Arvada, and Trinidad before settling in Longmont until 1998 when they traded in the mountain air for the Arizona sunshine. For 22 years they enjoyed life in Sun Lakes, AZ, playing tennis, pickleball, and sitting on their patio enjoying their “two drink minimum, two drink maximum” happy hour.

In 2020, Mary Ann moved back to Colorado which allowed her to be surrounded by family. Residing at Lincoln Meadows, she walked the halls every day, engaging in conversations with fellow residents, playing cards, and enjoyed nightly dinners with a large group of friends.

She will be fondly remembered for her unconditional love and unwavering faith. Mary Ann was guided by her faith deeply rooted in the Catholic religion. If you met Mary Ann, you made it onto her coveted prayer list that she recited every night.

Mary Ann was a stranger to no one and found great joy in talking to everyone. She embodied her nickname, “Honey,” with her kindness and sweetness.

Mary Ann’s legacy of love and faith will be survived by her five kids: Dan (Laurie) Hall, Vicki (Ben) Thompson, Steve Hall, Carol (Scott) Hall, and Thomas (Shannon) Hall. Forever cherished by eleven grandchildren, Angie (Brian) Hodd, Brad (Emily) Hall, Jessica (Renaud) Antista, Emily Campion, Zac (Ellie) Hall, McKenzie (Spencer) O’Dell, Ryan Hall, Kyle Hall, Allie Hall, Carissa Mosness, and Jack Mosness and one sister, Peggy Lank. “Grape” grandma memories will live on through fourteen great-grandchildren: Tyler, Hannah, Audrey, Braxtin, Eli, Katie, Melina, Arlo, Declan, Murphy, Nathan, Jed, Liona, and S.J.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ave Maria Catholic Church (9056 E Parker Rd, Parker, CO, 801138). Rosary will be held 30 minutes prior, from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Madeleine Hall

My heart goes out to Hall family! Mary Ann was the best mother-in-law anyone could have asked for. She was the most caring, loving, kind and forgiving individual! She and Jerry raised a good family! She helped show me how to love my children equally but individually! She was there for me when I lost my mom! I will always remember my visits to Arizona and her spaghetti and meatballs! She was always prepared and had it all planned out when we would come! We enjoyed stories out on their patio and the two drink minimum and maximum!! lol I don't know many people that enjoyed their in laws visits but I couldn't wait for them to come! She showed me how to cook and helped with the kids and even wrapping gifts during Christmas time! Her and Jerry will always keep a special place in my heart!! I know they are together again and I will see them again! Love Madeleine

Mark & Kham Schnabel

In memory of Mary Ann, my dear friend Carol Hall's momma. We picked scripture that reflects her life of love, faith, and family: 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NIV) “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” Love Mark and Kham

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." John 11:25-26 Mary Ann was a wonderful woman and I am so appreciative of her daily prayers for me I’m glad I was able to see her a few weeks ago and I know I will see her again one day. My love and prayers to the entire Hall family as you grieve the loss of your dear mother, grandma and great grandma. She and Jerry built an amazing family ❤️
