Mary Anne Baca

May 13th, 1949 - August 18th, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Anne Baca. Mary Anne was born on May 13, 1949, and passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 75. She lost a long, hard fought battle with lung cancer.

Mary Anne is preceded in death by her mother Rose Baca, siblings: Sylvia ‘Dolores” Baca, Anthony ‘Tony’ Baca, & Yolanda Baca. Her niece Alicia Baca & brother-in-law Richard ‘Boy’ Romero. Mary Anne is survived by her only daughter Dolores and son-in-law Luis Manny Vasquez. Her three grandchildren that she adored: Olivia & husband Dominic Normand, Luis Vasquez & Luke Vasquez. Sisters Ramona Baca & Kathy Romero. Her brothers Joe Baca & Mario Baca. Her nieces & nephews: Marsha, Ralphie, Robert & Albert, Antonio, Dahlia, Joseph, Roseanne, Richard, Michelle Robin, & Mario Jr. She also had many great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Mary Anne was born and raised in Las Vegas NM, and she moved to Colorado over 21 years ago to be with her family. Her family was her life and together they had many adventures, they traveled extensively and really lived life to the very fullest. She loved her grandkids more than anything and cherished every minute she was with them.

Mary Anne was a shining light - she lived her life with great faith in our Lord and passion. Our world is a little darker without her in it and our hearts are just broken.
