Mary Cox Arndt 1930-2021 Mary Cox Arndt of Charleston, SC passed on September 19, 2021 under the care of hospice. Mary was born in Charleston, SC on August 9, 1930, to Alice and Henry Cox. Mary loved crossword puzzles, gardening, watching the ID channel, and spending time with her family. She attended Memminger High school, where she enjoyed playing basketball and softball. She was an avid bowler and held many trophies to show off her accomplishments. Mary leaves behind her two children, Culbert "Burt" Arndt and Pamela Arndt Kelm (James), three grandchildren, April Logan (Matthew), Adrienne Serpe (John), James "Hunter" Kelm III, and five great grandchildren, Celeste Creedmore, Madilyn Logan, Aubrey Logan, Jett Serpe, and Wyatt Serpe. She is preceded in death by her two sons Erick Keller Arndt and Carey Shaun Arndt. There will be no viewing or services held per her wishes. A Celebration of Life Party will be held in her honor at a date and time to be determined.
