Mary Joan Becker

Mary Jo Becker passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at her home in Bothell, WA. Mary Jo was born on March 25, 1936 to her late parents John and Remore (Jensen) Broseau in Racine, WI. She is survived by: her sister Julia Delamater and niece Lisa Cevolani in the San Anselmo, CA area; her sons: C.J. and wife Aimee Becker, Barney and wife Corina Becker; her daughters; Kristi Becker, Kyla Becker- also granddaughter; grandchildren: Corey Rinaldi, Taylor Becker, Addy Becker, and Blake Becker. Mary Jo was an elementary school teacher near Racine WI. and in Kotzebue, AK, before becoming a loving stay at home mother in 1964. Mary Jo was mentally tough which helped her get through a terrible car accident at age 18, and then later, a divorce, where she then raised three little kids while going to Medical Transcriptionist school and working full time. She retired from Virginia Medical Center after 25 years’ service. She didn’t stop to relax, but instead raised her granddaughter, Kyla, from an infant until age 21. We, her children and family, are forever grateful for her love and sacrifice! She is dearly missed by her family and friends!
