Mary Katherine Clarke

Mary Katherine Clarke (Maynard) age 76, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Greeley, CO. 

Mary was born on 10/16/1947 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to parents Harry P and Katherine M (Schlect) Maynard. 

Mary married Bill Chosa in 1964 in Woodruff Wisconsin and had 3 children, Steve, Dee and Danny. They then moved to Fort Morgan Colorado. While living in Fort Morgan, that marriage ended in divorce. 

In 1983, Mary married Howard Crandall and moved the family to Greeley Colorado. Unfortunately, Howie passed away in 1985 from a long illness. 

Mary then met Edward J Clarke. He was her loving husband for 34 years until the time of her death. 

Mary worked in numerous industries including the Fort Morgan Beef processing plant, the Harned Bakery and also Bartels and Noe Insurance in Greeley where she was a licensed insurance agent. 

In 1998, Ed and Mary quit their jobs in Greeley, moved to Phoenix AZ and started their own excavating business (E&M Excavating) in Phoenix AZ. Their grandchildren have many fond memories of visiting them.  

For the next 15 years, they ran and ultimately sold their successful business to retire back in Greeley where most of their children and grandchildren still lived. In retirement, 

Ed and Mary enjoyed home renovations, gardening, antique shopping, reading and traveling. They purchased a motorhome in 2015 and traveled to many places including Canada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Mexico, Nebraska and all the states between Colorado and Alaska. 

Mary is survived by her husband Edward J. Clarke, Sister: Susan Lindstrom of Woodruff Wisconsin. 

Daughter: Dee Schoneman (Ray)

Sons: Steve Chosa, Danial Chosa (Laverne), Dennis Clarke (Christa), Danny Clarke (Shannin)

Grandchildren: Dakota Chosa, Aimee Schoneman (Kris), Taylor Ostermiller, Ethan Clarke, Danielle Chosa

Mary is also survived by very loving extended family: Sister-in-Laws: Mary Jones, Patricia Naffziger, Bertha Howard, Ruth Crandall Kron (Johnny). Brother-in-laws: Hugh Clarke and Jim Crandall (Deb). Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Harry P and Katherine M Maynard, her brother Danial Maynard and husband Howard I Crandall
