Mary McArthur Conrad left this world on June 20th. She was born November 23, 1925 on a dairy farm in Stranraer, Scotland to Peter and Jessie McCulloch. Mary immigrated to America with her parents at five years old. They lived in the gold mining town of Oatman, Arizona. She graduated from Salinas High School after which she attended Highland School of Nursing in Oakland, California. She graduated in 1948 with her R.N. degree. Later while living in Sacramento and raising her three daughters she attended Sacramento State College and attained her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 1971. Mary loved to travel, play cards and was an excellent baker. She was a member of Bidwell Presbyterian Church where she had many friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands and a daughter, Brenda Elaine. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Carleen and Mary Elizabeth, three Grandsons, two Granddaughters and four Great-granddaughters and a large extended family in California and Tennessee. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. May she forever rest in peace. Her memorial service will be held on July 9th, 2021, 10am at Brusie Funeral Home, 626 Broadway, Chico, California 95928.
