Mary Alice Dominy, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with her family at her side. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 3:30PM at Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. Burial services will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Reverends Robert Sorrow, Dr. Jeremy Morton and Tim Sizemore will officiate. A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, from 2:00PM until 3:30PM just before the service. Flowers are accepted and donations may be made to "Greater Things" a ministry of Second Baptist Church, 2504 Moody Rd. Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.Mary was born July 22, 1940 in Upson County, Georgia to the late James W. and Mary Moody. A retiree from Robins Air Force Base, Mary was a member of the Second Baptist Church, the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class and the Good Sams Camping Club. She was known for being a talented crocheter and offering her skills to the Helping Hearts ministry creating blankets for hospital patients. In addition to crocheting, Mary loved to quilt and travel to the mountains and the beach. She loved to sit outside and observe the butterflies and the hummingbirds, but nothing could capture her attention more than sitting on her porch or in the garage watching the rain fall.A beautiful soul who loved Christ and His church, Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and everyone who knew her will miss her.In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James Dominy.Mary is survived by her son, Steve (Pam) Morgan, Jr.; grandchildren: Steve (Laurel) Morgan, III, Faith (Wade) Richardson, and Micah Morgan; great grandchildren: Ella and Judd Morgan, and Tucker and Emery Richardson; step daughter: Janet Dominy; siblings: Joan (Robert) Sorrow, Barbara (Hank) Griffiths, and James "Butch" (Elaine) Moody; and several nieces and nephews.Please sign the online guest registry at www.heritagemfh.com and leave a personal condolence.Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
