Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Versailles - Mary Dan Proctor Etherington, 79, widow of Joe Etherington, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Ms. Etherington was born October 13, 1934, in Winchester, Kentucky to the late Jack O. and Catherine Drennon Proctor. She was a former Bookkeeper at Jack Kain Ford and a member of St. Leo Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. Ms. Etherington is survived by her daughters, Patti (George) Ball, of Cincinnati, and Fran Etherington, of Versailles; her daughter in law, Debbie Etherington, NC; her sisters, Patsy Tupts, of Versailles, Kitty DeVries, of Brandenburg, and Sally Thalheimer, of Lexington; her brother, John Proctor, of Brandenburg; her grandchildren, Stephen Toole, Jennifer Peacock, Dana (Josh) Gumm, and Amy Etherington; and her great granddaughter Haylee. She was preceded in death by her sons, Dan Etherington and Mike Etherington. Funeral Information Funeral mass will be 10:00AM Friday, September 26, at St. Leo Church with Father Danny Schwendeman officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Bryan Tupts, Mark Hall, John DeVrise, Sam Proctor, Pat Kain, and Bob Kain. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Thursday at the church with the Rosary Prayer at 7:30PM.
